Fees

Booking/registering a class

All classes must be pre-booked 1 week before the class commencement.  Strictly no walk ins are allowed.   Payment must be promptly made upon submission of the booking form to confirm your child's attendance.  Booking will only be confirmed once payment is received.

Trial Classes

Trial class fees paid are non-refundable in the event of last-minute withdrawal, missed classes or no show. Trial class fees are non-transferable. A medical certificate will be required for any absence due to health matters in order to postpone or reschedule the trial class . You can only sign up for trial class once.

Registration fees/Deposit

A registration fee of $20 is required for first-time enrollment.  Registration fees are applicable to all new students, and all returning students who have been absent from classes for at least 6 months.  Registrations fees will be waived when you enrolled a class within 7 days from your trial class.  A security deposit of $100 is required for all kids' classes which will be returned to you upon withdrawal from the school.

Term Fees 

Term fees is applicable to all classes. Each Term consists of eleven (11) weeks of classes.  Students must commit to the entire term after enrollment.  There will be no lesson(s) during Let’s Move Term Holidays and Public Holidays.  Fees must be paid by the 1st week of every term. Let’s Move reserves the right to suspend your child's lessons until course fees are received. If payment is not received Let’s Move reserves the right to charge an administrative fee of $5 for each late payment.  Please note that there will be no refunds of all fees to be paid or paid to Let’s Move Dance Academy. Fees paid are neither refundable nor transferable.

Missed classes with valid excuses, such as Medical Certificate or emergency cases, students may do makeup with any class of the same value within the same term.

It is advised to inform us about family holidays before a term starts so that we can prorate your fees for that term or at least 1 month in advance and we will prorate your fees the following term.  LAST MINUTE NOTICE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED OR PRORATED.

In the event a teacher is absent, and a relief teacher is unable to be provided, the class will be made up on an alternate date. 

Refund

For refunds, we will consider the following exceptional circumstances: -When student sustains an injury and cannot participate for an extended period of time, the remaining course fee can be put on hold for a maximum period of 6 months, after verification of supporting medical certificate, and subject to class availability. If the injury justifies permanent withdrawal, the remaining course fee and the deposit will be refunded.  If our school cancels a class due to insufficient registration, we will also give you a full refund.

Attendance

Class attendance is compulsory. Being absent 4 times or more from the class during the term will result in your child not being able to take the annual dance exam.

Make-up classes

There will be make-up class in the event  your class falls on a public holiday during the term, Make-up classes will be conducted during the term holiday.

Packages

All adult classes are on a four (4) classes package which is valid for 6 weeks or eight (8) classes package which is valid for 10 weeks.  There shall be strictly no extension of packages after the package ends.  If you are not able to attend a class, you may make up with any other class of the same value.

Termination/Cancellation

For termination or transfer of class, a minimum of one (1) full calendar month advance notice must be given to Let’s Move Dance Studio and the deposit will be return to you. Any student(s) who terminate lessons for more than six (6) months must re-register to resume lessons and a re-registration fee will be charged accordingly.

Any cancellation of trial class booking must be made 12 hours before class. Refunds will be made as a credit redeemable towards future classes or workshops.  In the event of 'no show’ or missed class, there will be no refund and fees will be forfeited.   Cancellations made on or after the class or workshop has started are also non-refundable and fees are also forfeited.  In the event where your child can't attend class due health matters e.g., sick, covid, etc., a medical certificate will need to be shown or your fees will be forfeited. Please notify us 8 hrs before class starts.

Private Classes

For private lesson(s), 48 hrs cancellation notice must be given in advance to reschedule your private lesson subject to the availability of the teacher and studio space.  In the event of no-show, (eg, forgetting to call), the fees will be forfeited.

Short term courses

For short-term courses, students have to commit to the entire duration of the course, classes missed are not replaceable.

Others

Fees are subject to revision without prior notice.

In any unforeseen circumstances, Let’s Move reserves the right to change/combine/transfer/

terminate temporarily or permanently of a class as well as dismiss any student(s).

Student(s) having influenza, SARS, COVID-19 or other contagious diseases such as measles or chickenpox are strongly advised not to attend lessons for the consideration of other students, the teachers, as well as the staff of Let’s Move.

Let’s Move Dance Academy is permitted to take photographs and videos of the activities of all students to be use in Let’s Move advertisements and publications, display, website, school publications, newsletter, magazine, brochures and other marketing materials. Occasions when photographs and videos are taken at Let’s Move include, but not limited to concerts, performances, excursions, award presentations, public road show, class activities, etc.  All images, videos and any other type of recording taken shall remain as property of Let’s Move Dance Academy.

Let’s Move is not in any way liable for any loss or damage of personal property and belongings, injury, disability or death incurred or suffered by student(s) while utilising the facility, during the lesson(s) or at any activities organized by Let’s Move such as, but not limited to concerts, performances, excursions, award presentations, public road show, class activities, etc.

Let’s Move reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
